The place

Little Pines Recreation Area, west of Waldron offers a full service modern campground with electricity, water, trailer dump station, paved roads, a pavilion, hiking trails, a day use area with a swimming beach and boat docks. The recreation area is located on the banks of Lake Hinkle, a 1,000 plus-acre lake, managed by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, with bountiful fishing opportunities for bass, crappie, bream, sunfish, and catfish. Overview: The Little Pines Campground is located along the shoreline of Lake Hinkle, an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission managed lake. The campground offers nine (9) campsites with water and electric services provided at the sites. All campsites are first-come, first-serve campsites and the length of stay is limited to a 14-day period. The Little Pines Day Use Site offer picnic tables with BBQ grills, covered pavilion and a swimming site for swimmers. Little Pines Campground is located 13 miles west of Waldron, Arkansas.
