The place

Lofers Bend Day Use Park is located on Whitney Lake on the Brazos River in central Texas. Whitney Lake gets over two million visitors a year. Visitors enjoy many recreational activities in the area and the scenic beauty that Whitney Lake provides. Lofers Bend Day Use gates will open at 6:00 am and the park will close at 10:00 pm. Fees

It costs$5 per day to use the amenities offered in the Lofers Bend Day Use area (fee is charged per vehicle). A convenient $40 Annual Day Use Pass may be purchased that will allow access to any US Army Corps of Engineers boat ramp OR day use without paying the $5 fee at the Fee Maching located next to the Gatehouse. The use of any Interagency Passes will be accepted.
